Mrs. Hall

My name is Nicole Hall.  I was born and raised in Pontiac and currently live there with my husband, Mason, and our three wonderful children, Alexis, Keagan, and Ethan.  I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Illinois and began teaching right out of college.  I taught science and reading at the fifth grade level for 4 years at Iroquois West.  I then moved and was hired on as 6th Grade self-contained teacher at Roanoke Benson Middle School.  I taught there for 2 years and then took a few years off to start my family.  Once I returned to teaching, I was hired as a Math, Science, and Computer teacher at Graymont Grade School.  I then found an opportunity to work in Pontiac as a Title I reading teacher for 3 years.  I began my teaching here in Ransom for the 2009 - 2010 school year.

My teaching experiences have certainly been varied which has enriched my background and what I can bring to my current position as the Middle School Math and Science teacher as well as a member of the RtI and Behavior Leadership Teams.  I am very excited to be back in the middle grades in a school community of kindergarten through eighth graders.  I truly feel that teaching Middle School Math and Science are my true loves of teaching!  I am very honored and excited to have the opportunity to work here at Ransom Grade School!
