What is FOIA?

In compliance with State Law (5 ILCS 140/4), each school district is required to post specific information regarding the school district as part of FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requirements. This information is included in the space below. If the information you are seeking is not found in these or other documents posted on this website, you may request copies of existing documents.


FOIA requests should be sent to Superintendent Dr. Lindsey Paul at lpaul@ransomgradeschool.net.

If you request a record that is already on the Ransom Grade School website, we will first point you to its location on our website and then let you decide whether you still desire a hard copy.

Summary reports of FOIA requests and their status are submitted to the Board of Education at each Board meeting.
